Andy Brink is more than just a Man with a guitar and a beard.
Originally an awkward theater kid who moonlit as a saxophone player in the marching band, Andy Brink has had to work a long time to figure out what it means to be cool. He’s still not cool, but he’s trying his best. After getting a degree in audio engineering from the University of Rochester, Andy spent a few years as a bass tech for the loudest band in the world while playing gigs at wedding halls and roadside bars on the weekends. He’s travelled the world playing music and supporting other musicians, and he’s got some songs to share with you.
Originally inspired by 60s R&B and 70s rock, Andy’s sound is one that takes the high energy of wedding bands and true heavy metal and infuses it with soulful melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and heartfelt guitar riffs into one blended mix he likes to call “ginger soul.”
